Much like including everyone who competed in Royal Rumble matches when the big event went on last as main event players is a bit silly, you can't include everyone that participated in Survivor Series main events simply due to the numbers involved.

However, we can use the first entry on this list to highlight the wrestlers that wouldn't normally grace the main event scene, but found themselves in one of the show-ending multi-man contests.

You have the guys who weren't necessarily bad wrestlers, like The Red Rooster (the unfortunate gimmick of Terry Taylor), Koko B. Ware, Haku, Maven or Butch Reed, who just weren't main event calibre for the most part.

You've got the guys who were copping a random push likely due to their size, like Hercules (twice!), One Man Gang, The Natural Disasters (yes, both of them), Ludvig Borga, or the yellow-teethed Gene Snitsky.

And finally, the absolute head-scratchers who seemingly got there by accident, like The Warlord, Crush or - and I can't make this up - Hillbilly Jim, who found his way into the main event of Survivor Series '88 on the same team as Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage.
