Mike Knox was buried straight out of the gate.

Debuting on ECW in 2006 (already a red flag), he was fed to CM Punk in a one-sided feud that saw him lose every single match over the affection of Kelly Kelly.

He was picked as a heel in a Survivor Series team that same year, being fed to Shawn Michaels in an infamous appearance that saw him eliminated inside 50 seconds, before Michaels turned to his team to ask them simply, "who was that?"

Not a great endorsement in your rookie season, that's for sure.

Three years later things weren't a whole lot better. He was a big guy with a burly look about him, but not a lot in the way of in-ring ability or character charisma to speak of.

For some reason, he was given a spot in the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match after winning a house show battle royal leading up to the PPV.

He wasn't even given a TV win to qualify - that's how lowly he was regarded.

Nonetheless, he landed a main event spot.

He entered 4th and was swiftly eliminated by Chris Jericho, never to grace the headline stage again as his WWE career petered out into a release 12 months later.
