WWE established on Raw that John Cena, Elias and Braun Strowman are the first entrants in 2018's Elimination Chamber match. In a cool moment, it was also confirmed that Alexa Bliss will defend her Raw Women's Title in the first ever female Chamber match too. All of those names are worthwhile.

That hasn't always been the case in Chamber history. To date, WWE have staged 20 versions of the War Games off shoot, and there have been some dreadful entrants. For the record, Santino Marella doesn't count. Despite being a lower-tier star, his performance opposite Daniel Bryan in 2012 was thrilling and was the correct way to book an unlikely entrant.

The main challenge WWE face in time for 25 February is convincing people that everyone involved has a shot at Brock Lesnar's Universal Title come WrestleMania. It's going to be Roman Reigns, let's not kid ourselves, but we'd like to at least pretend anyone can win.
