It might be a bit unfair to rag on the gimmicks of two wrestlers who are still technically in developmental, but NXT has grown into this major wrestling company that sold out a 15,000-seat arena in August, and these guys are the current tag team champions of that company, so they should be subject to this scrutiny. The problem with Dash and Dawsons gimmick is that they dont seem to really have one. In NXT, where fun tag teams like Enzo & Big Cass, the Vaudevillians, and the Hype Bros exist, Dash and Dawson get lost in the shuffle. They are being billed as stretchers similar to the Minnesota Wrecking Crew or the Brainbusters. However, another team, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable, also are being billed that way, but theyre carried by Gables charisma. Dash and Dawson have shown no such charisma. Time will tell with the new champs, but they will end 2015 on the worst gimmick list for having no gimmick.
