10 Worst WWE Roster "Shake-Up" Moves

6. Chavo Guerrero To Raw (2005)

Sometimes a radical change to an established wrestler's persona can do wonders for their career (see: Dustin Rhodes becoming Goldust). Other times, such a change leads to raised eyebrows and a confused sputter. That was the case for Guerrero in 2005, who was moved to Raw, away from frequent partners/rivals Rey Mysterio and Uncle Eddie, as well as the Cruiserweight division.

Upon arriving on Raw, Chavo dyed his hair blonde and denounced his Latin heritage in favor of co-opting stereotypical Anglo characteristics under his new name 'Kerwin White'. To hammer the point, White made his entrance to mock Lawrence Welk-style music in khakis and a draped sweater, while driving a golf cart. After Eddie's passing that November, Chavo abandoned the gimmick and returned to SmackDown, his Guerrero surname thankfully restored.
