10. Triple H Vs. The Rock

Back in October 2014, one of the biggest rivalries of the Attitude Era was reignited when Triple H and The Rock came face-to-face in a backstage segment. Then, at the following WrestleMania, they built on that meeting with an in-ring confrontation that eventually led to Ronda Rousey getting her hands on Stephanie McMahon.

The expectation was that these brief reunions were paving the way for one final Triple H vs. Rock showdown, most likely at WrestleMania 32, what with 100,000 seats to fill and all. But ultimately, that showdown never happened, meaning that these two titans are still yet to meet in one-on-one action on the WrestleMania stage.

Perhaps their segment in Santa Clara was supposed to be the pay-off to this revisited feud, but even so, it still feels like there’s an itch here that needs to be scratched.

Though the match should’ve probably taken place years ago and with both men still in their prime—at WrestleMania 2000, say—the added sub-text of what these two have achieved since means there’s still a huge amount of intrigue surrounding one final chapter in this decades-old feud.
