9. Brock Lesnar - Raw (18 March 2002)
Debuting the night after WrestleMania X8, Brock Lesnar made it known within moments that he was going to be the Next Big Thing. He arrived, massacred three men at once and made sure Spike Dudley would never be the same again.
It was during a random triple-threat midcard match between Al Snow, Maven and Spike that Lesnar came through the crowd and manhandled everyone in his path, showing off an almost supernatural display of strength in the process. What made his debut so surprising was that almost no one knew who this massive man was. There was no NXT where fans had seen him hone his craft. He didn’t come from WCW or ECW. He was a beast who emerged from his lair and easily ripped apart his helpless prey.
Snow was Lesnar’s first victim, as he was picked up and given a spinebuster through a trash can. Maven then became the first man to be launched into an F5. But Spike was given the worst beating of all. After being laid out with a stiff clothesline, he was hit with three devastating powerbombs in succession. The impact from them looked like they would take years off his career.
After this unexpected carnage, Paul Heyman joined Brock inside the ring, letting WWE know there was a new match made in hell to reckon with.
