AEW is Tony Khan's sandbox, and he decides who plays in it.

Spoiler Alert: At least a couple of the names included here probably don't want to make an All Elite comeback. They're perfectly content with what they're doing elsewhere, either because they're making great money or because they're just happier on the outside. Others have no say in the matter for various reasons - some wouldn't be brought back even if they fancied it, whereas others have seemingly burned bridges with their comments since leaving the company.

An iconic name stands out from the rest as somebody who was banned even though he'd never actually made an appearance on Dynamite, Collision, Rampage, Dark or any other AEW show since launch. Despite that, Khan decided to cut off all talks that he'd ever show up on his watch. Now, due to the fact that wrestler has sadly passed away, it's an impossibility anyway.

He might still be on the banned list, y'know.

A curious contractual legal battle has stopped someone who's jumped between both major companies several times (he's gone WWE > AEW > WWE > AEW within the span of around 4 years) from resuming his career too. That's a unique entry though. It's one in a list full of unique entries!

Social media arguments, rumours of locker room leaks, workers who just didn't do themselves any favours with their behaviour, very serious real-life arrests and even bickering via podcasts. It's all here, and it's caused TK to say 'no chance' when some ponder these men and women becoming #AllElite for the first time/again.

10. Je’Von Evans

In May, talented NXT star Je'Von Evans had a back and forth exchange with Ricochet on social media that involved the latter pointing out that he was learning from legends like Shawn Michaels when Je'Von was 12 years old. Firing back on that burn, Evans said that Rico was now "wrestling in front of 2,000 people every week". He didn't stop there either.

The WWE man said that Ricochet was wrestling "for a crackhead". Yikes!

That won't have gone unnoticed by Tony Khan. Je'Von was clearly referencing him in his message to Rico, and there's every chance that Khan felt insulted by what the WWE hopeful was saying. Evans (as Jay Malachi) worked 3 bouts for AEW between 2022-2023, but signed with Triple H's league later on. He's since made a splash on NXT and has been called up for a few matches on the main roster.

Clearly, Je'Von is still very young, but it might come back to bite him in the future if he doesn't succeed on the WWE side. After all, AEW is currently the best viable alternative for wrestlers in 2025. Will that always be the case? Who knows? However, burning your bridges with the literal boss of the only other major in the country is certainly bold.

It also wouldn't be a surprise if WWE management had a word with him.

Evans has never been publicly named on any banned lists, but it's easy to imagine that Tony wasn't happy with what he was reading. That was a huge slap in the face, especially considering the fact that Khan wasn't even really involved in the bickering between Je'Von and Ricochet.
