10 Wrestlers That Only Seemed Cool When You Were A Kid

2. Brodus €˜The Funkasaurus€™ Clay

OK, so chances are that if you€™re reading this, you€™re probably an adult, or at the very least, an adolescent WWE fan. And that means that, yeah, you were probably never young enough to appreciate the merits of Brodus Clay during his Funkasaurus period, which started in 2012.

Clearly aimed at the WWE۪s youngest demographic, The Funkasaurus was a repackaging of the monstrous 6۪7۪۪, 375 lb Clay as a fun-loving, constantly dancing dinosaur of a man. Sure, the adult male fans may have appreciated some of The Funkadactyls۪ moves, but Brodus himself had been turned into nothing more than a PG-era comedy gimmick who seemed to have been plucked straight out of a Saturday morning cartoon. Naturally, he fit right into the ensemble cast of WWE۪s Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery animated film, in which he was portrayed as having an appetite that rivaled Shaggy۪s.

Somehow, it seems doubtful that the kids who were Funkasaurus marks back in the day will hold onto their tee shirts for years to come. It€™s one thing to boast about being a big D-X or Stone Cold fan back in the day, but who€™s going to admit to dancing along with Brodus Clay?
