For years, John Cena has gone on global TV to claim that people can't see him, like that lunatic on the bus who claims to be invisible. Well, it turns out what a lot of people couldn't see was that Cena's 'You Can't See Me' hand gesture had been "borrowed" wholesale from rapper and G-Unit member, Tony Yayo.

When John Cena debuted, the gimmick that got him over with the fans, and nabbed him his first championship at Wrestlemania 20 was the Doctor of Thuganomics persona. As the Doctor, Cena would rap and his signature catchphrase was 'You Can't See Me'. He would then wave an open hand in front of his face.

Cena claims that the move originated as an in-joke from when he and his brother Sean would dance to hip-hop like the white Massachusetts boys that they were. That may be true, but Yayo has come out to claim the move originates with him. Regardless of its origins, Cena became and remains the face of the WWE. He still gestures 'You Can't See Me' like the white Massachusetts man that he is.
