10 Wrestlers Who Deserve A Big Push After WWE Royal Rumble 2021
10. Rhea Ripley
A popular pick amongst WWE fans ahead of the event, 'The Nightmare' ended up finishing second in the women's Royal Rumble, losing out to Bianca Belair.
She entered a tremendous performance.
Joining the match at number 14, Ripley scored more eliminations than anyone else in the contest, with Charlotte Flair (in collaboration with Belair), Alexa Bliss, and Toni Storm amongst her seven scalps. She controlled the squared circle for long periods and it was clear from the moment she entered that highlighting her was going to be a priority, with the focus lasting all the way until the very end. Yes, it was Bianca's night, but Rhea came off as strong as she has since Survivor Series 2019 weekend, when she felt like the most vital women's wrestler in WWE.
A feud with Bliss looks likely after Ripley disrupted Alexa mid-transformation, saving an excellent women's Rumble from Fiendish trickery. If that happens, let's hope WWE keep the shenanigans to a minimum: Ripley is too good and too bad*ss to get caught up in cheap parlour tricks.
Regardless, she has to surge wherever she lands. 'The Nightmare' is on fire.
