10 Wrestlers Who Deserve A Push In 2020

"You deserve it!" - Everyone.

As we pass into the new year, the WWE roster is full to the brim of wrestling talent, so it's easy for some of the superstars to get lost in the shuffle. One of these wrestlers could be your absolute favorite, and you can't work out why they're not getting the push they so obviously deserve.

With each year comes a whole new crop of hopeful up and comers, looking to make their name in WWE. While it's great to showcase new talent, you can't help but wonder what will happen to the unnoticed and underappreciated superstars already on the roster, some of which weren't even seen on television at all in 2019.

While not everyone on the roster can be WWE Champion, it would be nice to at least see the talent get the recognition they deserve. This could be for their ability as a technician, aerial ace or master of the microphone. Now would be the perfect time to give certain wrestlers the chance to present themselves at their full potential. Especially with the looming threat of All Elite Wrestling that has WWE quaking in their boots.

So at the turn of the new decade, it's time to which forgotten stars of the last one need a renewed push.

10. Samoa Joe

Ever since his NXT debut back in 2015, fans have been pining to see Joe have a run at the very top of the card. Yes, he's had successes as a two-time NXT Champion, and more recently as a two-time WWE United States Championship, but it just feels like something is missing. Joe has demonstrated his skill in the ring and his ability as a top heel, but his frequent injuries may have left a sour taste in the mouth of WWE's creative team.

If you haven't been impressed by Joe's skill on the mic (how couldn't you be?), just look at his most recent run as a colour commentator on RAW. He manages to put over other talent when he isn't even in the ring with them.

Year after year, WWE has been hesitant to flip the switch on a full-blown Samoa Joe run. In 2020, it would be very unlikely for WWE to continue sitting on an amazing wrestler like Joe.
