10 Wrestlers Who Deserve A Push In 2020

9. Ember Moon

Another 2015 signing that has gone amiss in WWE. After a great feud with Asuka in NXT, Moon defended her NXT Women's Championship a total of two times before losing the championship in a defeat by a recently debuting Shayna Baszler. This was Moon's last match in NXT.

From this moment fans thought that we would see her challenging top talent on the main roster. This, however, was not the way it played out. Debuting on the RAW after WrestleMania 34, she looked set to go on to win the first Women's Money in the Bank ladder match. Yes, THAT ladder match. After swiftly forgetting about that abomination of a match, Moon disappeared from television.

After a move to SmackDown in the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-up, there was a resurgence in the WWE Universe's belief that Ember Moon was destined for the very top. But yet again WWE went with the same old schtick, putting her in a forgettable feud with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, then having her lose her second Money in the Bank ladder match. WWE teased us yet again with a SmackDown Women's Championship match against Bayley at SummerSlam 2019. Moon went on to lose this match and begin a five-match losing streak.

Going through this in the last five years shows her aptitude for working with what she's given. With this being said, she is currently out with an ankle injury for an undetermined amount of time. If and when she does return, it is very likely WWE will give her a break and push her through the roof.
