10 Wrestlers Who Hated Their Big Moments
3. Mick Foley - SummerSlam 1996
We jump to another big Undertaker match that had one of the competitors feeling disheartened on the other end of it. Yet, on this occasion, it wasn't The Phenom who wished things could've been done differently.
Two years before the legends crossed swords at King of the Ring 1998 in an infamous Hell in a Cell war, Mankind met The Deadman at SummerSlam in a Boiler Room Brawl. Despite claiming that it was apparently seen as "a compliment to not do commentary over a 17-minute match", Mick Foley felt this early cinematic encounter seriously suffered due to the lack of personalities talking fans through the action.
Foley also wasn't a fan of the fact that the unstable encounter resulted in both him and his rival being injured, with 'Taker picking up a nasty staph infection and Mrs Foley's Baby Boy badly hurting his back.
With all that being said, Foley still concedes that the final moments of the clash were "really wild" as the enemies battled back into the arena and in front of the live crowd, only for Paul Bearer to turn on his ally and align himself with Mankind in a chilling twist.
