10 Wrestlers Who Must Win A WWE Championship By WrestleMania 38
10. Mustafa Ali
How has Mustafa Ali never won a championship in his five years with WWE?!
The now-former RETRIBUTION leader has had very few opportunities at championship gold throughout his WWE tenure. The matches have typically been solid encounters, at least; the Cruiserweight Championship from Cedric Alexander from WrestleMania 34 stands out. It was on the pre-show, mind, but it was still one of the best matches of the night.
Before we reach AT&T Stadium, his luck has to change. Especially if he's able to create a fully-fledged gimmick out of this American shtick he's been posting online.
Much like Kevin Owens (a Canadian) did in the spring of 2017, Mustafa Ali should ideally centre his character around being WWE's official United States representative as the United States Champion. It did wonders for 'The Prizefighter' because it felt like more than just a random title run. That strap meant more to Owens than the Universal Championship ever did.
It wouldn't hurt to try, anyway. While it's the Intercontinental Championship that was once known as the workhorse title, Mustafa could easily change that stereotype. Riddle and Sheamus already got the ball rolling on Sunday night; all Ali has to do is take full advantage.
