10 Wrestlers Who Took The Fall To Make Others Look Good
10. Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch's willingness to put over Zoey Stark on RAW was a great piece of business. Zoey's (relatively) clean win immediately caused her stock to shoot up, and firmly established the neophyte grappler as a legitimate threat to The Man.
In bygone times, a star of Lynch's caliber taking the fall against a relative newcomer like Zoey would have been unthinkable. Thankfully, the former Big Time Becks has never been shy of using her status to elevate those around her.
From pitching to drop the belt to Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36, to ???????? dropping the belt to Bianca Belair two years later at WrestleMania 38, Becky has never been shy about doing the job to promote the women around her. Hell, she once let Dana Brooke pin her!
Arguably just as impressive is Becky's willingness to step away from the title scene, as she hasn't been in title contention since losing at SummerSlam last year. (Yes, she won the Women's Tag Team Championship but that's rapidly reaching 24/7 levels of irrelevancy). Instead, Becky - along with Zoey and Trish - are proving that the women's division is capable of meaningful storylines that have nothing to do with winning a belt.
Becky has never been shy in her ambition to leave women's wrestling in a better condition than it was at the start of her career, and even without a title it's safe to say she's doing just that.
