10 Wrestlers Who Will Never Be WWE Champion Again

3. Sheamus

Like Big Show, Sheamus seems like one of the more affable members of the WWE locker room. He always looks up for a laugh, he doesn't take himself too seriously, and he's mates with Cesaro (who is perhaps the only wrestler who is nicer than both Big Show and Sheamus).

That's why it's kind of an unpleasant task to have to break this news: he's not going to win the WWE Championship again. That became pretty obvious, in fact, the second he was beaten by Roman Reigns for the belt a little more than two years ago.

The reasons for this are pretty straightforward, the most obvious of them being those sad rumours that a persistent neck injury could bring about a premature end to his career within the next couple of years.

Beyond that, there's also the fact that his double-act with the aforementioned suave Swiss technician is simply too good to split up. They fit together like a hand in a glove, and if WWE is serious about making its tag team divisions relevant again, they need to remain a two-piece for the foreseeable future.
