It's startling to imagine now, but the man currently plying his trade in TNA as Mr. Anderson was once a shoe-in to become a genuine WWE headliner. Known as Mr. Kennedy during his time in the promotion, the man was earmarked for huge things, not least of all being revealed to be the son of Vincent Kennedy McMahon. The sky was the limit for the wrestler, but he would somewhat spoil things for himself. Violating the WWE's Wellness Policy on more than one occasion, Kennedy made things worse for himself by being brash and outspoken during interviews. Instead of simply accepting his punishments and working hard to move on from them, he seemed to believe he was untouchable, something which didn't endear him to others backstage. By the time he made a short-lived comeback in 2009 and clumsily dropped Randy Orton on his head during a tag match, Kennedy was on the way out the door. It had been a remarkable fall from grace for the one-time surefire main event star. Speaking out about the sorry way his WWE career ended TNA programming only fanned the flames, making it more difficult to envision Mr. Kennedy/Anderson ever wrestling in WWE again.
