10 Wrestlers WWE Fans Most Want To Win A World Title

10. Finn Balor

When Finn Balor beat Seth Rollins at Summerslam 2016 to become the first ever Universal Champion he also became the quickest wrestler in WWE history to win a world title at just 27 days. Fans went nuts.

Finn had been drafted to RAW just one month earlier in the first round of the new brand split, and winning the title in his first pay per view match was the perfect kickoff for what would surely be an incredible run… Except, it wasn’t. Unfortunately, Finn also tore the labrum in his shoulder during the match after taking Seth Rollins’s signature running powerbomb onto the outside barrier. Finn was then out for 9 months before making his TV return and his push slowly deteriorated, as did his momentum.

Finn Balor is incredibly talented. So talented many fans wish we got to see him more, but unfortunately right now in WWE we as fans can’t have nice things. Here's to hoping his feud with Shinsuke Nakamura for the IC title puts both of them back on Vince’s radar and we can one day see the Finn Balor world title reign that fans’ want, and more importantly that he deserves.
