10 Wrestlers WWE Must Sign After WrestleMania 33

10. Candice LeRae

With the likes of Heidi Lovelace and Kimber Lee recently joining the Performance Center, WWE have already started padding their roster for the rumoured women’s tournament. The competition is still to be announced, but these signings are a surefire sign that something big is on the way, and that the Women’s Revolution is only growing stronger in 2017.

For all the leaps WWE have made with women’s wrestling, however, they’re still light on numbers for the tournament. They’re going to need to bring at least a few more fresh faces through the door before they can start booking, and Candice LeRae’s name should be towards the top of the list.

Candice is one of the most popular independent wrestlers in America, and she’s also carving out a nice name for herself in Japan. Though primarily known for her intergender work, she’s just as effective in straightforward women’s matches, and plays her underdog role to perfection. Her name is always thrown around when potential female signings are mentioned, and she’d likely jump at the chance to join her husband Johnny Gargano in NXT.

It all hinges on whether or not WWE can look beyond her history in intergender and hardcore matches, but if they can do it for Lovelace, they can do it for LeRae.
