Mickie James blew up social media by posting a picture of what WWE had sent her after terminating her contract on 15 April. Basically, they packed her remaining personal items into trash bags and mailed them off to her. The symbolic nature of this should not be lost on anybody.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon responded by apologising to Mickie, and it appears WWE has cut ties with Mark Carrano (the guy blamed for this incident). Some fans on Twitter are also a bit confused as to why there's such an outcry about this - a few even stated that the black refuse sacks would be preferable to clear, see-through ones.

Fair enough, but it's the coldness of this that surely stunned Mickie. She's a veteran who has worked tirelessly across multiple stints with the company. Then, suddenly, they cast her aside and almost literally said, 'Take your trash with you'.
