10 Wrestlers WWE Will Regret Releasing
10. Erick Rowan
Erick Rowan received high praise from Brodie Lee (formerly known as Luke Harper in WWE) during his recent appearance on Talk Is Jericho, as he made it clear that the one-time Bludgeon Brother is a pretty eccentric dude who cares a lot more than we may have realised about what goes on in the ring.
After breaking away from both The Wyatt Family and Harper, Rowan showed us a completely different side of himself when he aligned himself with Daniel Bryan. Admittedly, him later carrying around an animatronic spider in a cage was, well, terrible, but he nailed the role of an out of control monster who squashed enhancement talent, and it felt like WWE was building him up for something special.
That came to an abrupt halt when he vanished off television on the Road to WrestleMania, but Rowan was a talent who could have easily been repackaged down the line. It would have been great seeing him continue to be built up as an absolute beast, and seeing as he has some killer mic skills, WWE may have had the full package here.
Now, we expect to see Rowan ultimately take those talents elsewhere and become a top star in the process; just like Brodie Lee, WWE will quickly realise they wasted this big man.
