10. Vince McMahon Credits Triple H For Creating 'Plethora' Of Talent

As a public company, WWE must justify their actions to a collection of shareholders. That's precisely why Vince McMahon routinely holds conference calls with these investors a few times each year, explaining how business is doing and what the organisation is planning for the near future.

This week, McMahon held such a call, and the WWE Draft played a huge role in the presentation. Crucially, McMahon gave credit to Triple H for his work with NXT, citing the fact that the developmental brand has increased the talent pool in the promotion. Along the way, he hinted that this was why the roster split between Raw and SmackDown was possible.

The likes of Finn Balor, Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bray Wyatt, Enzo Amore and Big Cass all honed their craft in NXT. The same could be said for top names like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

It's interesting to theorise what may have happened had NXT not taken off like it has over the past few years. Was McMahon effectively saying that the brand extension would not have occurred had it not been for Triple H's dilligence?
