When Seth Rollins was injured during an in-ring segment with Samoa Joe in January, there were very real fears that he'd be forced to miss a second consecutive WrestleMania. That didn't end up happening, and Rollins did work opposite Triple H at 'Mania 33 in a grudge match, but WWE had to accept that 'The Architect' wouldn't be at his best.

10. Baron Corbin Was Supposed To Interfere In SmackDown's Main Event

According to The Wrestling Observer, the clean finish to John Cena vs. Shinsuke Nakamura on this past week's SmackDown wasn't the original plan. Nakamura's win over Cena does help prepare him for a WWE Title crack at Jinder Mahal, but WWE had something else in mind to help protect Cena. That's right, Baron Corbin was going to interfere.

Originally, Corbin was due to hit the ring and gun for Shinsuke. By accident, he'd nail Cena and thus help Nakamura pick up a major victory. The Observer noted that WWE.com's own SmackDown recap spoiled this by publishing the finish that didn't happen instead of the clean one that did. Whoops.

Corbin did show up after the show had gone off the air though. Mr. MITB was put through the announce table by Cena, presumably to set up a SummerSlam match between the pair that fills a hole in both men's calendars before Cena takes another break post-pay-per-view.
