8. Steve Austin Misheard Elias Samson's Catchphrase
Elias has struck gold with his guitar-playing gimmick, and 'Who Wants To Walk With Elias?' catchphrase. Although the line always provokes a reaction from audiences, it'd be interesting to find out just how many people know what the guy is saying. If that sounds weird, then consider that Steve Austin misheard it horribly.
Austin admitted to Elias on his podcast that he thought the newbie was saying, 'Who Wants To Walk With A Lion?' up until recently. Samson got a kick out of this, then added to the story by saying he was originally supposed to ask who wanted to walk with the Drifter. When that nickname was dropped, he switched it to Elias.
Stone Cold has stated in the past that his hearing isn't so great in one ear. What?
