6. TLC In Boston Was Sentimental For Tommy Dreamer

Tommy Dreamer is somewhat of an anomaly in the pro wrestling world. Never the biggest star, he is nonetheless respected by many of the top names in the industry for his passion. Even during recent interviews, that passion has come to the fore. The 'ECW Original' recently returned to WWE, teaming with The Dudley Boyz and Rhyno to face The Wyatt Family. Discussing his return with Busted Open Radio, Dreamer shared an interesting fact about his appearance on the TLC pay-per-view. Driving to the arena, the former ECW World Champion couldn't help but pause to take stock of how far he had come during his career. Boston is a special place for Dreamer, because it was where he wrestled his first match outside of his native New York. At just 19 years old, a young Tommy Dreamer wrestled in a small high school. Fast-forward all these years, and he was on his way past that building, heading towards a WWE pay-per-view booking. The city was also the scene of his first Royal Rumble appearance in 2003, something Dreamer holds dear.
