4. Selfie Sticks Are Banned From WWE Events

This weekend, WWE hold an event at the Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City, Tennessee. The show is a routine for-the-house live event, one which won't be filmed by the promotion. Interestingly, the official Freedom Hall website posted a list of items warning those planning to attend what they will have to leave at home. It's unsurprising to read items such as video cameras and laser pointers being banned, but there are some interesting inclusions. Fans are disallowed from bringing bags or even non-WWE masks to the event. It's standard procedure for WWE to regulate the things customers bring in to the arena, looking to discourage people from attempting to bring in alcohol or film portions of the show. Something that's very unique is the inclusion of the selfie stick on the list. Maybe the company see the potential for the item to be used as a weapon, because "weapons of any kind" are also marked down as being banned. Tyler Breeze makes use of a selfie stick during his entrance, and it does seem bizarre that the item is now apparently banned from WWE live events.
