If 2012 was a true breakout year for Daniel Bryan, 2013 was the one during which he became WWE's go to workhorse. That year, Bryan was pretty much every fan's pick to be shunted up the ladder and become a genuine headliner. Officials behind the scenes were skeptical, but eventually agreed to pull the trigger on his push. That push would culminate with Bryan winning the WWE Title at WrestleMania XXX. The peak level of performance the man achieved for his matches at 'Mania was no accident. Speaking with Pass The Popcorn, the currently-injured star recalls the hard work he put in during 2013. Whilst giving advice to both Cesaro and Seth Rollins, Bryan said they both worked harder than anyone else in 2015, so it was perhaps no surprise that they went down with injuries. Reflecting on his own career, the former WWE and Intercontinental Champion revealed that he wrestled a staggering 227 matches in 2013 alone. That was more than any other member of the roster that year, and includes house shows as well as television shows and pay-per-views. Most fans were likely aware that Bryan worked hard, but that's an insane number of bouts.
