4. Bret Hart Forced Stampede Wrestling Pull From WWE Network

Over the past few weeks, WWE have been quietly adding old-school content to the already-bursting WWE Network library. Promotions such as the AWA, Mid-South and Stampede Wrestling have all been added, and fans have been receptive to this on Twitter. Ideally, the WWE Network should be a place where the promotion show off their impressive archive of footage. As reported by The Wrestling Observer however, the company neglected to make a quick check regarding Stampede Wrestling. Believing they owned the footage, WWE employees started uploading the content to the Network server, making it available for fans. This is something which infuriated none other than Bret 'Hitman' Hart, who was under the impression that he was in possession of all Stampede content. When his mother and father passed away, they handed the rights to Bret. An argument took place this week between both parties, before WWE eventually decided to remove the footage outright. It's unclear whether or not a deal with be made between Vince McMahon and Hart to put the shows back on. They do deserve to be celebrated, but Bret felt slighted by WWE simply going ahead without permission.
