Once a proud and patriotic babyface, the American flag-waving of Slaughter gave way and the once-popular star became the WWF's top heel overnight upon embracing Saddam Hussein's government.

There was no better force to oppose Slaughter's treachery than Hulk Hogan. A match was set in stone between both men for WrestleMania VII, but not before Slaughter defeated The Ultimate Warrior at January's Royal Rumble to become the new WWF Champion.

Come show time at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on March 24, 1991, a restless Slaughter sought out peace and quiet. Telling The Roman Show all about his routine on the day, the storyline yin to Hogan's yang said he wished to be away from any noise so he could think about what he was going to do.
