5. Paul London Felt Cody Rhodes Was 'Just Another Guy On The Roster'

When the legendary 'American Dream' Dusty Rhodes sadly passed away in June, 2015, a lot of wrestling fans expressed wishes that Cody Rhodes would leave his Stardust gimmick behind. Instead, Cody continued to perform as the comical character, although he hasn't really experienced a lot of success under the guise at all. More often than not, Stardust is featured on shows like Superstars, Main Event and the pre-pay-per-view 'Kick Off' shows. Whilst a lot of fans believe it's time for him to ditch the grease paint and outlandish mannerisms, Paul London doesn't agree. London worked with WWE for many years, and gave his thought to WrestleZone Radio this week that it's good Cody has something to help him stand out. In London's mind, Rhodes was just another mid card wrestler when going by his birth name. As the out there Stardust, he's able to show much more of his personality and appears completely unique on the roster. That's not strictly true, because Stardust does at times come across as a watered-down version of Goldust. Nonetheless, it's intriguing to see a fellow peer defend the wacky character.
