8. Vince McMahon's Sage Advice To Roman Reigns
"Be present".
Those were Vince McMahon's words to a returning Roman Reigns when the 'Big Dog' made his comeback post-cancer battle. The boss didn't stop there. Reigns told Sports Illustrated that McMahon pulled him aside backstage and gave him some follow-up advice that had nothing to do with business and everything to do with family.
"Be there with your family and friends, and absorb everything you can. Maximise all that you can", Vince poetically told his employee, and it meant the world to Roman that he'd taken the time. To Reigns, McMahon was trying to tell the worker to soak in all the good experiences he could after fighting such a horrible disease.
This shows a human side to Vince us fans don't hear about too often. He's regarded as the machine-like WWE father figure who never sleeps and is all business 24/7, so it's sweet to hear that he shares a more personal bond with some of his stars.
