3. WWE To Go Ahead With Owen Hart DVD

Ever since the promotion announced plans to release a DVD set dedicated to the life and career of Owen Hart, conflicting reports have come out about whether or not legal problems will stop WWE from shipping such a product. It's not exactly hot-off-the-press news that Owen's widow, Martha, has held a long-standing grudge with the company over the tragic incident which led to the death of her husband at the Over The Edge PPV in 1999. When quizzed about the prospect of the DVD, Martha has since stated that she doesn't support the idea, and once again lashed out at WWE for their treatment of her husband's legacy. Several wrestling news sites reported that the DVD seemed like a nice idea, and remarked that it must have Martha's blessing, but the woman quickly contacted them to say she will never work with WWE. Impending threat of legal action and lawsuits have likely been at the forefront of stopping Owen Hart from being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, something which surely must happen at some point. Even before the horrendous end to his life, Owen was well on his way to having a distinguished career, and that's something which deserves to be celebrated.
