6. Gene Snitsky Told Vince McMahon He Didn't Like How WWE Treated Him

Working for WWE from 2003-2008, Gene Snitsky has been fairly outspoken about his stint with the company since departing. Remarkably, the man feels he should have been a bigger star than he was, and feels the promotion's higher ups consistently undermined him. Likely causing a look of confusion, Snitsky apparently told Vince McMahon this to his face, as revealed on last week's Art of Wrestling podcast. Right before leaving the organisation, Gene booked a meeting with the boss. Strolling into Vince's office, the wrestler said that he felt the storylines McMahon's writers had concocted for him were simply not good enough. It would have been incredible to be a fly on the wall during that particular conversation, because it's unlikely Vince McMahon was best pleased. In Snitsky's opinion, he could have been "the guy" in WWE had creative only given him the chance. Instead, he felt he was handed rotten angles that he worked hard to make good, such as having a foot fetish and inadvertently causing Lita to have a miscarriage. It's mind-bending to picture Snitsky telling McMahon that he could be his next top guy.
