10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Oct 7)

10. Mick Foley Watched Raw's Women's Title Match From The Crowd

Monday's Raw broadcast was topped off by a main event between Sasha Banks and Charlotte for the Raw Women's Title. Banks would capture the belt, which sets things up nicely for a rumoured Hell In A Cell bout at the pay-per-view of the same name on October 30. That would be special, but the match would have to go some to top Raw for Mick Foley.

Posting on Twitter, the legend revealed that he actually watched Raw's headliner from the live crowd. Soaking in the atmosphere, the Monday Night Raw General Manager couldn't resist seeing the match with his own eyes, rather than watching from the comfort of a dressing room backstage.

A longtime supporter of women's wrestling, Foley is also a top on screen character for the Raw brand. Therefore, it's somewhat surprising that he elected to go out amongst the people to see the title main event.

If nothing else, being part of the audience proves just how big a pro wrestling fan Mick still is. It's genuinely cool for Banks and Charlotte to provoke such passion from a veteran.
