In order to get people to hate you, and pay to see you get beat up, you have to dig down deep and do some bad things to draw the ire of the fans. There are some men and women in the wrestling business who simply don’t have it in them. Take Ricky Steamboat for example, the poor dude never even got the chance, because he was just too gosh darn likable.

Other times we’ve seen wrestlers join the dark side, and it turned out to be a colossal mistake that cost their employer a lot of money. It can be painful to see some of our heroes turn their back on us...especially when they’re really bad at it. While some big names like Randy Savage or The Rock could go back and forth with ease, many others were clearly suited to stay on one side of the battle of good vs. evil.
