10 Wrestling Matches Ruined By One Botch

4. Ronda Rousey Vs. Becky Lynch Vs. Charlotte Flair - WrestleMania 35

You could probably make a convincing argument that WWE botched this match before the bell even rang. Why was Charlotte Flair involved? The entire wrestling world wanted this to be a major singles match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey, yet 2435-time women's champion Flair was shunted in there for what, because there wasn't a tall blonde involved?

For shame, WWE booking team, for shame.

If that wasn't bad enough, the first women's match to main event WWE WrestleMania ended with a botch, with a three-count that should never have happened and a crowd with the wind knocked well and truly out of their sails. If this is building to some sort of mega bout between Ronday and Becky, it gets a pass, but that clearly isn't the case.

Poor Rod Zapata. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, Zapata counted Rousey's shoulders to the mat despite one of those shoulders being nowhere near aforementioned mat. Zapata claimed that Rousey was in severe pain due to a broken hand and needed to finish the match but that doesn't exactly make this botched finish okay. Something about that explanation doesn't sit, in truth.

Will Becky and Ronda get a chance to right this wrong in the future? WWE's bottomless chequebook will surely do all it can to make that happen.
