10 Wrestling Matches You Won't Believe Happened In 2020
10. Fist Fight (WWE Monday Night Raw, January 13th 2020)
One of those "can you believe that was actually this year?!" matches, the inherent weirdness of the Monday Night Raw Fist Fight taking place in 2020 is best defined by what the participants are up to in December compared to January.
Back then, Kevin Owens ran up the Raw skate ramp. Now, he's trying to run a heel Roman Reigns off of SmackDown. Seth Rollins made the same move to Fridays, having spent most of his year trying to ruin Rey Mysterio's life. Samoa Joe has settled into life as a Raw commentator. The Big Show came then went then came then went then came then went, with at least two turns in there. After further injuries, AOP disappeared off screens before being let go outright in September.
At the time this main event took place, two of the babyfaces were outside Royal Rumble bets, with Rollins/Owens not looking like it stood no chance of making it to WrestleMania. Both calls were miles off by March, with 'KO' and 'The Kingslayer' having one of the best empty PC matches from that particular era.
