As WWE attempts to distance themselves away from Hulk Hogan, one of the key parts of this includes erasing Hogan from the history of not just their company, but given that WWE owns footage from so many other wrestling promotions, likely erasing him from their histories, too. This is a difficult task that will likely take WWE quite some time, but given the nature of what Hogan said, it's likely for the best. However, for those in the WWE Universe who are explicitly NOT Hogan fans, this moment allows for reflection on something quite intriguing. Now that WWE's erasing Hogan from the history of wrestling, it might be a bizarre bit of fun to go back and think about those moments where Hulk Hogan was interjected into a situation that either made the situation vastly less entertaining or allowed other stars to be overshadowed. Between the WWF and WCW, there's at least ten times where Hulk Hogan was a part of something that he absolutely didn't need to be a part of that dwindled either its entertainment value or ability to be a segment that made a new star. In contemplating these moments, it's either going to make you want to do some fantasy booking yourself, or just realize how pervasive Hogan's influence was over the past 30 years of wrestling history.
