The only aerial move on this list, the 450 Splash is a very impressive move. The user performs a forward somersault in mid-air, spinning a full 360 degrees, before rotating a bit further and landing on top of their opponent. Its a very nice move to see, and its also one of the prime reasons that moves from the top turnbuckle are often called high-risk. The 450 Splash was temporarily banned by the WWE at one point for being too dangerous. Specifically, the risk was that if you spun too far, youd drive your knees straight into your opponents torso or face, as demonstrated in this video:Though that video demonstrates one way of botching the move, the reason it was banned from WWE was because Juventud Guerrero messed up and drove his knees into Paul Londons head, nearly breaking his eye socket. However, the 450 Splash was re-instated years later and we have seen its use by such Superstars as Justin Gabriel, for example. This may be because Gabriel mightve shown that he can use the move safely. After all, as those public service announcements indicate, WWE Superstars spend years training to perfect and perform moves safely. So it looks like Justin Gabriel is careful enough to pull off the move; hopefully it wont lead to another injury and another ban.
