2. Mae Young Gives Birth To A Hand

When discussing the weird and - not so - wonderful things to happen under the WWF/WWE banner, it's impossible to leave out the mind-boggling saga between Mark Henry and Mae Young. Known as 'Sexual Chocolate' during his on-screen relationship with the pensioner, Henry was instructed to act delighted when the WWF teased on television that Young was pregnant.

Dating Henry throughout the latter part of 1999 and into the new millennium, Young's pregnancy later turned out to be little more than a bloody rubber hand, turning the stomachs of pretty much everyone watching and leaving those tuning in out of curiosity wondering exactly what had become of professional wrestling!

In fairness, the angle is still talked about to this day (such as in this very article), so at least the story left a lasting impression on those who witnessed it first hand (no pun intended). With that in mind, it was pretty darn weird to later see the hand, now grown up, make an appearance on the 1000th episode of Monday Night Raw. Of course, it was simply someone dressed up in a costume, but why WWE would want to draw attention to the 2000 segment is rather strange in itself.
