6. Paul Heyman Proposes To Ryback

Paul Heyman has sure had a wacky career, one filled with everything from a lack of sleep over running hardcore wrestling promotions to allegations over being a compulsive liar, but has the former head honcho of the original ECW ever been involved in a segment like the one where he effectively proposed to be Ryback's life partner?

In 2013, WWE were under the impression that Heyman could turn any wrestler into a genuine headliner, mainly due to his prior work with both Brock Lesnar and CM Punk. Unfortunately for those writing the shows, neither Curtis Axel nor Ryback had the intense presence of Lesnar or the charisma and work rate of Punk, making Heyman's job a hell of a lot harder.

Perhaps looking to shock people somewhat, WWE booked a segment whereby Heyman got down on one knee, held Ryback by the hand and pretty much said he wanted to be with him for life. It was more than a little random, and it was hard to see how this was supposed to convince fans that Ryback was the promotion's top heel.
