Being a babyface is hard work. People on the whole are very distrustful, so when a guy comes out in bright colours slapping hands and kissing babies, it's many people's natural instinct to be suspicious. There's a ton of instances in wrestling history when people just couldn't get over as good guys because the crowd saw through them and knew that wasn't who they really were. Getting to play the heel is great though, who wouldn't want an excuse to go out and wreak a little havoc, throw around a few insults, make a little mayhem? Heels get to cheat and mock the crowd, being a heel lets you tap into the frustration and anger that everyone carries with them and turn it into something positive and entertaining. It's no wonder many wrestlers often say they much prefer working heel to babyface. Over the course of WWE's storied history, there's a long list of wrestlers that are remembered as iconic babyfaces who actually killed it when they played the villain for a bit. Here's just ten wrestlers you may have forgotten how good they were when they cut loose and got to be the bad guy.
