The next week on Raw, Sting is nowhere to be found. Bray comes to the ring and cuts a promo on the Icon. Bray says he is no longer just the Eater of Worlds. He is now the Eater of the WWE Universe, its past, its present, and its future. He says Sting was safe outside the confines of the WWE Universe, but then he stepped into the WWE ring, Bray's ring. Now, Sting is the physical embodiment of the WWE's past and the WWE's present, which means Bray must destroy him, and make certain Sting is not part of the future. "Follow the buzzards. Destroy the scorpion."
