10 WWE Midcarders Who Would Be Main Eventers In AEW

10. Dolph Ziggler

Yes, we're in the age where a former two time world champion - currently feuding over the WWE title nonetheless - can be considered a midcarder. Yet, that has always been the status quo for 'The Show Off'. He was never taken seriously as champ - being handed his first world title and losing it the same night, before losing his second world title on the first defence.

Once considered the next Shawn Michaels, Dolph never quite became the prodigy he seemed destined to be. Ziggler even joked himself once that he would be far more successful if he were just a couple inches taller. Despite his *ahem* shortcomings, Ziggler has a good look and isn't too shabby on the mic either; it's his in-ring abilities where he shines the most however. For a grappler who doesn't have an extensive background on the indies like a lot of his co-workers, he's proven he can still hang with the best of them - stealing the show with the likes of Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins.

It's the latter skills that would pave the way for glory, if Ziggler were to ever seek fortunes outside of his home for the last decade plus. A change of scenery would be just the revitalization Dolph needs, finally allowing him to live up to his full and untapped potential.
