10 WWE NXT Wrestlers Who Should Go To Raw Or SmackDown Next
10. Chelsea Green
If the dirtsheets are to be believed, then Chelsea Green is being groomed for a main roster call-up in the near future.
Green's time in NXT thus far has been brief and somewhat uneventful, but she does have a reputation that precedes her run with the company. She had a run with the Impact Knockouts Championship as the "mentally-unstable" Laurel Van Ness in 2017, and she enjoyed a cup of coffee in Lucha Underground's fourth season as Reklusa.
Unfortunately, since arriving in NXT, she has largely been lost in the shuffle.
Originally, WWE let her run with the "psychotic" gimmick that she'd honed on the independent circuit, but after returning from a broken wrist in December of 2019, she didn't appear to have any gimmick whatsoever. After briefly and inconsequentially being paired with manager Robert Stone (the former Robbie E of TNA fame), Green has enjoyed a few recent successes, but ultimately nothing to write home about.
While she's certainly no Manami Toyota in the ring, those who have followed her career know that she is capable of creating a compelling character. If she can't quite get her footing in NXT, perhaps she can recapture that lightning in a bottle on the main roster.
