4. One Night Only
Generally, WWE's exclusive UK pay-per-view offerings were always glorified house shows with cameras, and they weren't known for being unmissable. Unlike future bores like Rebellion and Insurrextion though, 1997's One Night Only felt like it actually belonged on the supershow calendar alongside major US-based events.
This was every bit as good as anything In Your House produced that year.
The top three matches all had something different to brag about. Owen Hart vs. Vader was a smash mouth, unexpected gem, Shawn Michaels vs. The British Bulldog is enjoyable from a historical perspective (that Birmingham, England crowd wanted HBK's head) and Bret vs. The Undertaker is weirdly neglected despite being every bit as well-worked as their SummerSlam effort.
There's a reason some talk about One Night Only as the best WWE UK exclusive ever. Nobody could've imagined beforehand that the card would be this good, or that the roster would be as motivated to deliver it.
