10 WWE Returns We Can Expect For 2018
6. Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho has his career nailed down to a science. Blending his outside musical interests with sporadic WWE appearances protects him from overexposure, while his ability to reinvent himself time and again keeps him relevant and fresh in today's product.
It would be easy for Jericho to return sporadically and simply present his Y2J character of 2000 each time. However, 'The King of the World' takes great pride in challenging himself. His last run saw him get a clicking pen over - such is the level of the Jericho's wrestling genius.
He's physically healthy, he has his no qualms putting over young talent and always does what's best for business, no questions asked. As far as legends go, Y2J is the ideal employee - which is probably why he has an off/on schedule unlike any other superstar since Roddy Piper.
Jericho's band, Fozzy, will be releasing their new album in October 2017, preceded by numerous domestic dates and followed by an extensive European touring schedule. What better way to promote his new album globally than another run in WWE in 2018?
Whether it's as a surprise entrant in the Rumble or simply to help bolster the WrestleMania undercard with a big name, a Jericho reappearance next year would be a smart move for everyone involved.
