This has been ranked as one of the worst booking decisions WWE has ever made. Perfect, allegedly, was all set the win the 1990 Rumble before Hulk Hogan politicked his way to the first of two consecutive wins. After Rick Rude was sent over the top rope by both Hogan and Perfect, the pair battled it out with seemingly little on the line. Hogan was the reigning WWF Champion at the time so Perfect winning the Rumble would've set up a perfect, pardon the pun, main event at WrestleMania VI. After reportedly vetoing the decision for Perfect to win, Hogan would send Perfect flying to claim the win.
