10 WWE Royal Rumble Runners-Up You Totally Forgot About

5. Santino Marella (2011)

After being a jobber for the majority of his WWE career, Santino made the final two of the 2011 Rumble after breaking the record for the quickest elimination at the hands of Kane in 2009. Santino entered at number 37 of the 40 man spectacular and was very clever in his tactical approach to the match. A Brogue Kick from Sheamus sent the Italian to the floor under the bottom rope. He wouldn't reappear for some time. The 'final three' of the Rumble consisted of Del Rio, Wade Barrett and Randy Orton. The Apex Predator sent 'Bad News' over the top rope before the Mexican aristocrat sent Orton to the floor immediately afterwards. While Alberto's music was playing and Ricardo Rodriguez was announcing his man as the winner, Santino re-appeared and hit The Crobra before setting off on a few celebratory laps. Santino went for the huge elimination before Del Rio reversed and won the match outright.
